Vintage Yamato cameras

Based in Tokyo, and manufacturing cameras since the early 1950’s, the Yamato organisation was one of many such companies that disappeared in the 1960.  Vintage Yamato cameras appeared under various names such as Barclay, Mansfield, Ricsor and Starlight, as well as being one of the many suppliers to the Sears company for their Tower brand.
