Introduction & Timeline

These pages contain some details of the film cameras in my collection.  Wherever possible I try to use the cameras to take photographs – I’ve no desire to own ornaments – I’ll tolerate a few faults in an old camera, but it must be capable of taking pictures of some sort.

There are British cameras (Corfield, Ilford etc.), German cameras (Zeiss Ikon), Japanese cameras (Nikon, Miranda), and even French cameras (Foca).
